WNBA
After a jam-packed, fun-filled WNBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago, the regular season has resumed, with teams fighting to make it into a playoff spot. With only a few weeks left of a condensed season, it’s crunch time!
Who ever said the WNBA wasn’t spicy?? There are currently a handful of teams sitting on the brink of playoff contention with nearly identical records. Locking in those final playoff spots could come down to literally the final seconds of the season.
Heading into this weekend, teams will be looking to WIN and secure their place in the standings – especially since the playoff format has changed this year. Gone are the single elimination games of first-rounds past. EVERY team that makes it into the postseason this year will get to play in a series.
You’re not going to want to miss these games. Friday night, the HOT Minnesota Lynx will face the Indiana Fever with high hopes of securing the win. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. ET on CBS Sports and Facebook. At 7:30 p.m. ET the Connecticut Sun will play the Atlanta Dream on TSN.
Saturday night hosts just ONE game between last year’s champs Chicago Sky and the Dallas Wings, starting at 8 p.m. ET! You can catch that one on CBS Sports!
Finally, on Sunday a full slate tips off at 1 p.m. ET with the Las Vegas Aces and Connecticut Sun facing off on TSN. At 3 p.m. ET the Minnesota Lynx will play the Washington Mystics on League Pass, followed by a 6 p.m. ET game between the Phoenix Mercury and Atlanta Dream on Amazon Prime.
The last game of the weekend will be between the Seattle Storm and the Indiana Fever at 6 p.m. ET on CBS Sports!

After this event, the LPGA will head to France for the fourth major of the year, the Evian Championship.
Make sure to catch the last two rounds of the LPGA Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational, Friday at 1 p.m. ET on the Golf Channel and Saturday from 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. ET on the Golf Channel and from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. ET on CBS Sports!
NWSL
The NWSL season continues this weekend with a packed schedule of games! In their VERY first season in the league, the San Diego Wave – led by Alex Morgan – have been making a SPLASH! They sit atop the standings, but is there still time for other teams to catch up?
Teams have been without some stars over the past few weeks as players have been called up to national team commitments. Both the CONCACAF Women’s Championships and the Women’s UEFA Euro Championships have been going on.

Luckily, both Canada and the U.S. have secured places in the FIFA Women’s World Cup through the CONCACAF championship – so players from those National Teams will be motivated as they return to their NWSL teams in the coming weeks.
Back in the good ol’ U.S of A, the NWSL has continued through the international competitions and will go on this weekend!
Friday night, catch the San Diego Wave playing Racing Louisville FC at 10 p.m. ET. The game scheduled between Angel City FC and the North Carolina Courage was postponed due to COVID-19 protocol.
Saturday’s action kicks off at 8:30 p.m. ET as the Houston Dash will face the Chicago Red Stars, followed by the Portland Thorns going head-to-head with Gotham FC at 10:30 p.m. ET.
The final two games of the weekend are Sunday, as defending champs Washington Spirit will play a struggling Orlando Pride team at 5 p.m. ET and the OL Reign will face the Kansas City Current at 7 p.m. ET!
All games are available to stream on Twitch and Paramount+!
